Or, where is my mind? It's been a long time since I've logged in. I guess life and a new guy in my life took away some time, as I have been searching for work since I finished my web site. I have been in search of work for a while now, but it is very elusive in this current job market. I'm looking anywhere in the nation, though, so if any of you deviants out there hear of anything you think i'd be a good fit for, I'll consider any location in the country (and even in the UK or elsewhere!)!

School loans are due in november, but it seems highly unlikely I'll be able to start paying them back yet since I can't find work. I bet the loan people love this economy... who knew how bad it would be when I graduated... I only had thoughts of it being a bad time for hiring around the holidays/new year - ha! that would have been easy compared to this! On the good news side, I won an on-air resume with DC101 and HOT 99.5 in my area - they had a contest for the unemployed and you could advertise your unemployment in a 20 second air slot. I recorded it last week and it's running all this week until Sunday. I hope someone contacts me after hearing it. If you want to hear the voiceover, you can hear it at: [link] - but please be kind! You can also likely listen to these radio stations on live-streams on the internets... but I don't have the bandwidth myself to catch it on air. If anyone does and can record it, that'd be killer!

It's also been well over year since losing bailey, but I'm still not ready, nor do I have the money to support, a new family member. Soon, I hope, though. If and when I get to move to a new job, I'll want that companionship again, I'm sure. Especially if I move to a totally different geographic region. Guh.. so many issues in life and so much stress. I am off to AZ today to visit my family there for a few days and enjoy a bit more sun before the gloom of winter sets in. Winter is not good for the spirit when you're unemployed! Of course, if you're going to work at dark and home at dark, it's not good for the spirit either. Can't really win on that one completely...

Here's hoping next year is brighter and better for all of us. I hope all of my fellow deviants are doing well... miss you guys and hope to post some new works soon. I've mostly been taking photos rather than doing design work, but hoping that changes soon too.
